Presentation
Within the last years, a consortium of Universities and Research Centers including the University Carlos III of Madrid, University of Lorraine and Polytechnic University of Poznan have been organizing an annual International Workshop devoted to the dynamic behavior of materials. The 15th Workshop is conducted with the collaboration of Derby University, WAT University in Warsaw, Polytechnic from Tunisia and San Diego State University (USA). The 15th edition 2025 is organized in collaboration with Fundación Guardia Civil.
Aims and scope
The Workshop will cover experimental, theoretical and numerical aspects of the mechanical behaviour of solids at high strain rates. Research work based on specific industrial applications are welcome. The following main sessions are proposed:
- Constitutive modelling
- Experimental investigations
- Modelling and numerical simulations
- High speed impact and machining
- Effects of Blast and Extreme Shocks
- 3D Printing and Architected Materials
- Integration of AI in Modeling and Simulation
